This image was carved on a small scale for the Grammy nominated package design of Anaïs Mitchell’s ‘Hadestown’ (2011). Now I have re-cut the image by hand on a larger scale. Woodgrain shows in the ink, making each print unique, and leaves evidence of the artistic process. It has been printed on a hand-pulled etching press.
