The color inks are laid on almost like woodstain. There's a subtle gradation in the red, darker toward the figure, darker toward the bottom. The black ink is so rich and delicate. These are all one of a kind, and each print interacts differently with the woodgrain.

This is the image that started the graphic approach to the award winning Broadway musical. The hand and flower are currently on the marquees for this Broadway show that's sold 1,539,067 tickets as of today! The organization hired me to help on the show campaign, but in the end we couldn't come up with anything better, so they cleverly distilled it down to the hand and flower! Good job everyone!
