1/2 inch Birch panel
4 colors oil-based ink, thinned in some cases to be like a stain
Bumpers on the back raise it 1/4 inch from the wall to give an extra heft

The twilight color between blue and green seems to change with the angle of light. Printed directly on to wood, the thinned ink accentuates the grain like a stain. The woodgrain gives a kind of shimmer as one walks by. It can appear dark if not well lit.

It's been coated with 3 layers of very thin shellac (real, old-school stuff, hand-mixed from the resin of bugs) which obscures nothing of the natural grain. The edges have been stained a warm color to accentuate the layers of birch plywood. The attached sawtooth hook on the back makes for easy hanging and the bumpers which raise it off the wall give more gravitas.
